I understand this may not help you, but it's better to visit a doctor (Ayurvedic doctor/Vaid if so inclined) than seek random opinions online.
Patanjali or JeenaSeekho fellows may have much more educated answers customized to your needs, especially since you have seen a positive response from Ayurveda. They have call centers as well, I've heard and can advise on call if your relative can't travel to their centres.
Not a recommendation, however.

Sorry to be that person, but I'd say they are probably better off without it. There's no research that says ingredients of liv52 are good for someone with liver issues. Did a doctor prescribe it? You cannot "detox" your body.
But I know I'll only receive criticism for this and you'll find some alternative to this tablet (which is not scientific, has no body which checks its quality).
