Dear Dimers,
I thank you all people for making this wonderful cyber space to post deals. The best thing about this is being free for everyone. Everyone can post a deal, anyone’s deal can be a hot deal, and we can get raw, unbiased personal opinion. We talk about deals, technology, politics, stock trading, insurance etc. Obviously there are some prohibitions. 🙂 It’s quite understandable. Most of the dimers are really really qualified people, with sound knowledge in their domain. Everyone is so civil with eachother. I sincerely hope that you people are equally great in real life too, and model citizens. 🙂 It’s really an honor to be able to discuss things with you.
It is quite interesting the way our life unfurls things before us. I have joined Desidime since 2015. I really didn’t understand the way it works. So, became active since 2018 I guess. Since 2015 there have been 4 years on Desidime and I lost 3 years of them thanks to my unawareness. We miss a lot of things in our lives. Chief factors are procrastination and unawareness.
We must understand that we have a stipulated time period. And we gotta spend that time wisely. You see around the world, you find so many religions. You gonna find one thing in common. They have gods, their version of stories that tell how first man and woman walked on our planet, time, birth and death. Most of them are downright crazy. But they all think someone as the one. Hell, heaven and afterlife play major roles too. Every scripture dictates to do good deeds in order to get good things in return. In my opinion hell, heaven and afterlife are some metaphors understood by all kind of civilization in the world. Everyone wants to be rewarded for good deeds, wish punishment for ones who wronged them and want another chance to walk on earth. We will not talk about Moksha. That’s a different thing. But those Holi Trinity, hell, heaven and afterlife is just here and we live through them. Since we opened our eyes, we have committed some good deeds and some bad deeds. Whatever we are now is because of them. And when we die, we just die. And those near and dear ones talk about our tales to those who are unknown of us. 🙂 If we choose to be an average person, only a few people shall talk about us and if we are going to be notorious/popular person then more people shall remember about us. And if we contribute something then whole civilization gonna use it, therefore immortalising us. 🙂 Generation after generation, people will use those tool and build new ones. I quite understand not all of us are quite capable of that, me included. What I say is, if we can’t be creators then we can be nurturers. I have damn sure if nobody published Principia Mathematica, Theory of relativity, nobody fostered, donated or spreaded the news about them then we would have still in our early stages of civilization. It’s a beautiful thing. But yes people gonna remember Einstein, Newton, Hans Bethe etc, but not the people around them. But I see them as nothing without their support. 🙂
I would encourage everyone to give up procrastination. I would advise young people to not to waste time. There was this trend during my college years. We would study Physics, Chemistry, Math n Bio so we have two options in our future, degree in Medicine or Engineering. After engineering 90% people would go to work with IT companies and then do MBA and start doing jobs in corporate again. I am not different either. But here is the thing I learnt. Since our childhood, we are given opportunities. A child commits a mistake/ waste some resource its guardian ll spring forward and guide the child. A student commits a mistake then a teacher helps out. Who gonna help an adult? Those chances/ opportunities run out as we age. It’s quite depressing actually. I would advise the young people to not to waste time n research. Do limited gaming. Take care of your health. Health is wealth. I see, people are all about their friends when they are kids. They obsess over their partners when they are young. Ask any 29 something person, unequivocally everyone ld agree family is the best thing in life. Recognising it, while we are young gonna make things a lot easier.
And if any of us could not buy something drool worthy during the sales then I would suggest please don’t worry. For example, when I was a teenager I was drooling after Nokia N series phones. They were fun. Now they are obsolete. One thing that won’t go obsolete is knowledge and experience. Good thing is you still have time. Young people have a lot of time. 🙂 Time will fix everything.
And lastly I would like to wish may Goddess Kali lift the veil of unawareness from our eyes and lead us to the path of knowledge and entitlements. May we be kind to eachother and support from each other for a brighter future. Happy Diwali.
