Jayanti means the birth anniversary of someone who is not alive while Janmotsav means celebrating the birthday of a person who is in this world. Hence it would be better to say Hanuman Janmotsav.

Thanks... I didn't draw the first blood as all can see here...
Personal attacks will be dealt with strongly and not absorbed by default.
Happy Hanuman Janmotsav To all.

Wow, does "being a woman" entitle you to make a comment on my post having a communal angle? ("typical bengali babu") - you made the first move! (I was humble enough and just said "oh, thank you...") @Rosh_0007
And again using your "being a woman" sentiment, trying to attract attention and claim undue advantage (I didn't reply to your comment but a befitting reply to a meme posted by some avijit, and you say, you're humiliated !)... what a day!
Nice political and sentimental "being a woman" play, that too by a "deal newbie" ... really, what a day!

Rule no. 1: A woman doesn't say she is a woman in desidime
Anyway Hanuman is said to be an Incarnation of my favorite God, Lord Shiva.
Jai Hanuman, I hope in coming times he will be seen on par as Shiva than as right hand of Vishnu aka Ram.
Jai Bajrangbali Bali.. 🙏🏻

It's a bit complicated. In my culture we have Shri Jagannath, Shri Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra as three idols of Jagannath dham. Lord Jagannath is an avatar of Lord Vishnu, Lord Balabhadra is an avatar of Vasuki naga Sesha Naga @quantum rectified the mistake, the ride of Lord Vishnu. Yet Lord Jagannath respects Lord Balabhadra as his elder brother because they are brothers. And in temples too we treat Lord Jagannath as the little brother of Lord Balabhadra.
Similarly, we treat characters of a particular period as per their karma. Lord Hanuman is also known as Maruti nandan or simply as Maruti. And Marut means wind. He is said to be a part of Vayu dev, the wind God. And he is also a part of Lord Shiva. His purpose was to assist Lord Ram so that those cursed ones, suffering in form of demons, ll finally be freed of their burden. This is why Lord Hanuman is treated as a part of Lord Ram. And Lord Ram is always in Lord Hanuman's heart. So, both are inseparable. Same goes with Tri Dev Bramha, Bishnu and Maheshwar. 🙂🙂🙂 They all are same but their avatars are defined by their karma. And this tradition is being followed.
