Except directly from the phone manufacturer.
For example, Apple sells refurbished products directly to customers ( outside India, yet to see this in India personally).
They would have the right components and be resealed properly, most often with brand new screens, and come with 6 month warranty.
Often parts that were going to fail in normal course of daily use are already replaced in such refurbished products as well. There are these pros and cons
There is no worry of fake parts in such a case of direct manufacturer-led sales, but they sell them at lower discounts, so that is also not a very good deal sometimes
To each his own IMHO

Posting this from a SM-M115F/DS, bought offline, in April or May 2022.
After haggling or something.. at 5300 or so.
.
Dayum the Samsung update accidentally installed two months back.
Only issues are with that.😔
No in the default Samsung keyboard, unable to find the emoji 🔎search🔍 button.
.
I was not fully involved in the deal.
But the shopkeeper never called back to ask for the 'bhaiya abhi itne hee paise heiN, will pay the remaining 200/300₹ later'.
.
Thus I am assuming that even selling it at ₹5000 (in April end/ May 2022) would have been profitable to that mobile shop trader.
.
The phone remained without SIM for two months.. lest someone comes saying.. it was stolen.
.
But the (Sindhi) shopkeeper showed all the paperwork from some alleged bulk suppliers of his.
.
No issues from previous owner oe with the phone.
(I do not know if it was opened/serviced or repaired. But did not seem to be more than 10-12 months old at that time).
.
Cashify prices, that way seem stupidly high in comparison.
Although of-couse, as early as June 2022.. Olx buyers were ready to pay 4700-4900 for the same phone (if lied to them that original bill is there).

Do not know of the scene in past two years.
But EBay.com has some really reliable sellers and/or businesses who regularly give great deals on even network unlocked phones.
(Else getting phones unlocked, jailbreakibg them.. too isn't that costly).

You cannot check many things, like if battery is changed, screen is changed etc. and once deal is done you handover the money to olx seller, there is no coming back. Here atleast there is 6months warrantyPosting this from a SM-M115F/DS, bought offline, in April or May 2022.
