Has anybody never recharged their number after the incoming stopped ? Till how many days was the number active ?

I have to recharge both my airtel and vodafone number with 49 every month but this month i forgot and its been 2 weeks since i haven’t recharged and the number seems active so can anybody tell me till how many days the number remain active so that if i could skip recharging for some months it could turn quite helpful.

How? OTPs or other msgs aate rehte hai kya? 
I did recharge my Idea number last in the month of January,2020 for a two day validity plan and then directly now in November,2020. I have been following the same operandi for the last 5-6 years without worrying about my number becoming inactive. Incoming has always been active all these times. I only recharge it when I know I need to make multiple calls to the banks CC’s as that number is only used to receive OTPs.
Hey how was the incoming active don’t they barr the incoming services after 7 days of plan expiry ?
And wow from January to November without recharge means i am safe with my numbers right ?
I also need them for bank only so wanted to know the safe period for not having any active plan without sim disconnection.
I suggest you to make call from or on your number and talk one or two minutes. My one number is Deactivated Because of no calls. As I have using data recharge on that number.
You were recharging still they deactivated it ??
Do you remember the time period due to which they considered inactivity and deactivated the no. ?
just do 19 pack once in two months doing this in vi sim and do outgoing calls

So you mean to say basically recharge once in 2 months no matter the amount or validity right ?
Airtel…. Past 3 years… No recharge… Otp comes.. No incoming or outgoing

Is there a 1 or 2 days validity- pack on jio like airtel ,Vi does?
JIO, 1 year no recharge, only incoming and sms

Jio Number 2 and half months after active plan expired… Jio Executive Made Phone Call To Alternate number And Said Recharge Any Active Plan To Avoid Number Blockage in Few days.
Wow strange people tell me there jio is giving incoming since years without rc.
For Airtel nos, you may recharge it with 45/49rs every once in 3 months (this is what i have being doing from several years)
