Hathway asking for 2500 INR for Router

I asked to disconnect in November month but they didn’t come.
After I relocated, they are asking me to pay a fine for 2500 for router.

If your request was formal (email) then just use that as proof and cite the obvious reason, that you requested for disconnection but they didn’t comply to the same and if they force you to pay that now you will take legal route. Just email their HO.
