Actually this situation of repeated maintenance didnt happened before in HDFC
recently last 3 months its like this though

I think HDFC is scared of RBI after the paytm fiasco.
HDFC is no stranger to RBI's strong hand. But RBI essentially crippled a market leader(paytm) with one swoop. With No regard for the ramifications.
How long would it take for RBI to do it HDFC(highly unlikely, but still)? So HDFC is finally trying to keep up with them rules

HDFC Bank will at least send you a notification before doing maintenance, even if they do it 100 times a month. But KOTAK Bank won't warn you at all. They'll just take their server down without notice. Imagine you're at a restaurant, just finished eating, and when you try to pay the bill, you get a message saying, ' Your Bank server is down, try again later.' What can you do than washing dishes at the restaurant? 😂

Even kotak bank has 3–4 times MAINTENANCE in a month
HDFC is not a Small Bank
