I hope you are not thinking that 1 cr term insurance by paying a total premium of 4-5 lakh will count towards nrv of 1 cr.

If you choose to pay via one time payment option at 24-25 years of age with a 40-50k salary job(maybe not now but definitely before 2020 it was available).

In 4.6 lacs ( monthly payments for 7 years ) got a 2 cr life cover hdfc click 2 protect 3d just prior to covid . Life insurance with cover till 85 years .Age was 26 at the time i guess .
post april 2020 the rates have become almost double for life insurance
