Look for a thread created today/yesterday by a fellow dimmer where HDFC hasn’t issued CB points for a 77k payment. rage

May be they are taking our money and making money off it by giving loans or making FDs. smile

Saturday paid bill will reflect on wednesday…..Sunday paid on Tuesday….. Monday-wednesday……tuesday-thursday…..wed-fri

Personally tried the above mentioned combination.

Is this cb instant?
I generally pay my dues on the due date itself around @ 1am or something and it gets processed immediately through cred.

So doesn’t make sense to pay cc bills via hdfc bill pay?
Also, can you please post the link for the same.

They don’t settle bill payments instantly so that’s a major letdown.
3 business days is very bad confused hushed

That’s not how they work with funds. It’s the standard they have got and the funds need to go through different entities. Things have improved of late, earlier it was much slower.

Cred will return your favour one day by holding or processing it late. Don’t rely on their systems until last day.

Yes I know that’s risky so I try to make payments atleast 1 day prior to the due date. I completely agree with you taking this much of risk is not advisable pray plus1

If you have big hefty bills then pay using hdfc/billpay.
Else use CRED.
Even for 50k, all that CRED gives is around 19+17(unlocked).
Compare that with billpay where you would get 500 cb points valued at ₹1.

ka-ching! imp
