Has anybody recently paid axis card bill using hdfc?
I have paid it on 5th sept and its still not credited to cc account which has due date tomorrow.
Does it reflects actual payment date when gets processed like it does in icici?

In case of axis the actual date of credit only is considered so if due date is tomorrow then better pay full bill amount by tomorrow evening using axis bank own payment gateway in case it is not credited else you will end up paying much more than 1% of hdfc billpay cashback in the form of interest charges for partial payment.

Wait till tomorrow afternoon
Else pay via Axis UPI id (that will reflect within 5 mins)

@guest_999 @avgn thanks I’ll do that if it doesn’t show in axis by tomorrow afternoon. its the first time i have used hdfc for axis payment and i paid well in advance, now i am wondering why is it taking more than 8 days, isn’t it unusual?

Now pay your Credit Card bill instantly using UPI.
Steps to pay via UPI:
Begin a UPI payment from any UPI app
Enter your Axis Bank Credit Card Bill payment UPI ID*
Verify name and enter bill amount
Complete transaction using UPI PIN

Your Axis Bank Credit Card BIll Payment UPI ID is: CC.91<Your 10 digit registered mobile number><last 4 digits of your Credit Card>@axisbank

You should have payment gateway option of axis at least in your axis card account page. Use that & pay via any supported card/netbanking/upi.

That reflects after 2-3 days (but date of credit is payment date only)
Better is UPI id method

Yes this option has issues with verifying UPI ID sometimes
But since it’s LIC card, it’s possible this BIN is not supported by this method
Works with Ace and other regular axis cards

Yes it seems so, I’ll try to pay from the axis app if my payment doesn’t reflect by tomorrow.

Happened with me too last month. Paid 5 days before my due date, but it got delayed. Just to be sure, paid again with Cred one day past due date. Recieved the payment instantly & received the delayed payment from HDFC billpay also that day. Date of credit actually was the one on which i paid. So NO NEED TO WORRY unless it fails. Hope it helps

Doesn’t work on normal QR scans to shop
May work for some selected merchants who support it

Hopefully since it is their own payment gateway so date of transaction should count as date of payment even if settlement happens 2 days later.

I had paid min amount due earlier using Amazon cc payment (upi). Its showing the same date, could it be a fluke?
Also a very small amount using paytm wallet which got credited on the next day.
