1. do we get 1% platinum debit card cashback only for AutoPay or also for any ad-hoc payment we make to the credit card/any other utility? – For every payment you get 1% cashback. For autopay you get 5% cashback more with a cap of Rs150/month.
2.Moreover, I don’t see an option to enable auto-pay for credit card billers on the website. Can we enable auto-pay for credit card billers? – No
3. Do auto-pay billers still require confirmation before payment like confirm & pay? – No
5. Cashback will be credited post 90 days, right? – Cashback will be credited one day after the payment is successful. You can check cashback under cards section in net banking.
6. Do we get any confirmation post the transaction, confirming that it is eligible for the cashback? – No

can we use other banks Debit card for HDFC Bill pay ?

Any convenience fee on Electricity bills via Payzapp using CC

As your questions are already answered above, I will share my views about auto bill payment.

Unless your bill amounts are big it doesn’t make sense to auto pay.
I setup todos in Google Calendar for bill payments just 2-3 days before due date and search for best deal across all apps/wallets.
Also paying credit card bills via app like CRED is better. Even amazon now have credit card bill payment with offers of cashback.

In summary , by just being aware of bill and spending some time , we can save much more Vs setting up auto pay.

But if you do not want to remember , reduce hassle , dont want to save small amounts then autopay is ok.

billpay repeatedly failing for me today. saying dc daily usage limit exceeded. i have checked tscn amt is well within limit. anyone in same boat 🚣‍♀️?
