HDFC CC - double dhamaka?. is it loot??
Today I have paid an amount of ā¹9900 to my HDFC cc in Amazon . But the amount of ā¹9900 posted twice in my card account. Received confirmation messages for the same. Available credit limit increased by ā¹19800 which is visible in unsettled transaction also. Glitch from Amazon or HDFC? Will the excess payment reversed? @getready @guest_999 @EkdamSastaRajuĀ

Never trust anything online shown in hdfc system especially related to such double entries, wait for few days/card statement to generate. Such "extra money" is always reversed sooner or later.

Happened once with hdfc earlier. One of them won't settle and get removed after 2 days and Credit limit will reduce again.

Happened to me, purchased a phone on croma but order never got placed and money deduced. They refunded money twice. This happened in may. I thought I won free 25k rs, statement got created for may then june then july statement. I was like yay free money then finally that amount showed up in august with old date.Ā

They had reversed a 10 days old DC txn of 1L 2 days back on my account.Ā
It took them a day to realize their mistake, put the money on hold and do another txn of the same amount out of my account.
I never believed in free money (at least not this much), so knew this was going to happen.
