I was just checking the credit card statement and I found a few entries for smartbuy Dec,2019 cashback. As far as I remember, there was 10x reward points on smartbuy portal back then which was devaluated sometime in May. Did anyone else get this on your card statements? Or was it credited by mistake for some other month. I don’t think it will be for Dec,2020 as hdfc takes 90 days to provide cashback.

I know that. But why would it show December 2019 if it is for December 2020. Also, traditionally hdfc bank provides cashback after 90 days where as this is provided at the end of month itself. So, I wanted to know if anyone else has also received the same?
Yes, it is for December 5% cb. They did it for November too with same manner.
I did not receive November 2020 cashback yet. But I received for Dec,2020? Is HDFC bank really a joke?

I also got the same but interesting thing is that I don’t even have hdfc cc in Dec 2109, i applied and got my cc in Sep 2020 (3 months ago only), so this could be the cb of December 2020 bcoz i did purchase for around 30k rs in previous month.
Bro if this is the case, then what about the cashback for October and November. I am yet to receive them.

November cashback is credited on 1st December 2020 to many people
However, September and October 2020 cashback yet to be credited
Should we raise this to HDFC Bank?

All mixed up ….. some say Sep20 CB credited, some say Dec20 credited….
I did recco at my end and nothing seem to match as per mine calc
If you have followed the steps correctly you can drop a mail to them. They will mostly ask for those transaction details and then add the cashback if you are eligible. I’ve dropped mail for missing cashback/reward points and I’ve received them .
