My application which was submitted on 22.09.2021 still not processed, after multiple Emails, got a call from local branch representative asking whether i have a bank account with them or not, to which i said no. Thereafter he said, since you are applying under Self employed, we generally don’t provide credit Cards to Non Account holders who are Self employed and asked me to open a bank account with them which i denied saying don’t want to bear the unnecessary burden of MAB as already have two bank accounts with MAB requirements. Then he said, he will look on to whether he can make an exception to this and will let me know. That was yesterday around 3:30 PM, have not received any communication from them since then.

And for your query, the tracking website sometimes show inaccurate status, so my suggestion is to wait for it.

Wait for some days, hdfc system is not exactly known for their reliability. Also sometimes they may give you another option of submitting latest salary slip for reviving applications that were declined at later stages.

Hdfc is so slow these days i applied for a new account one week ago they still haven’t processed my cheque for the initial deposit.

I got credit card from hdfc bank
My credit score is not even generated yet.
I once failed to maintain minimum balance.
But I do lot of transactions using my debit card.
Don’t know how they approved my card
I am just student no income proof submitted

Exactly the same think as OP happened to me last month. I also applied on C2C basis on the advise of the HDFC rep using an ICICI card with an 8 lakh limit. I do have a decent ITR but he advised to do so on a card to card basis. I got the message sms of preliminary approval but about 5 days later an SMS saying they have finished processing and then it showed declined. My CIBIL score is 790. I have about 8 cards with decent limits on them with the highest being 19.6 lakhs from IDFC (Wealth). Now I am unsure if should apply for a secured card or reapply online after some time. I didn’t have any relationship with HDFC but I have now opened a savings account as wells as some FDs totaling around 10 lakhs. I could keep a much larger amount but the interest rates are very low at HDFC. So hoping to get a pre approved offer someday or to try for a secured card. Does anyone know if HDFC reports secured cards as marked ‘secured’ on CIBIL? I was looking for the Milennia credit card for purchasing Amazon  vouchers as well 5% discount on Dineout. However I have found that their debit card also gives a 5% cashback. So not sure if I even need the credit card.

Recently i applied for HDFC Card i found following sms Your HDFC Bank Credit Card application No. xxx has been processed. Track status after 2 days here hdfcbk.io/a/g5PJYe1 but after checking it showing decline status what is the meaning this is final or any mood change possible with HDFC i am already holding savings a/c with them this is 2nd time they decline my application till now no call or email received from HDFC Credit card team after multiple tweet to hdfc care team no response received till now is there any way i can approach for clarity or need to shoot mail if yes kindly help me out which mail id i can approach.

HDFC IS KING OF Chu. .. So keep applying like a machine till u get one and get one LTF
