Still wondering why HDFC wants to keep you at Regalia First only with such high Credit Limit.

Quite strange that it’s not even offering you to upgrade to regalia, not even talking about infinia

do transaction of minimum 35K for 2 years, bank will surely upgrade your card, my personal opinion. I have been doing it for 5 years and now my limit it 4 Lk and upgraded to Dinars Privilege last month…

My credit limit is 7.2L recently got upgraded to regalia first from money-back !

I had 8 to 11.5L limit on my Regalia First for last 3 years still they didn’t give me automatic upgrade offer to Regalia, forget Infinia.
I had to threaten them with card closure to get upgrade to Regalia.
Now my cousin who has MC card with 5L limit and usage of just 2 years got Regalia.
Also my friend with MC of 3L limit also got Regalia upgrade.
So upgrade offer is purely lottery by HDFC, no logic.

I hold regalia first for 8+ years with6.5L limit.
Never got any upgrade to regalia or infinia.

I dont have any other relation with hdfc. I have observed ppl having hdfc savings along with credit card get upgrade offer faster.

People Holding other banks cards and using less HDFC cards will get LE/Upgrade offer faster.

If this safe having so much limit in cc ?

if anything its always good to have high credit limit and its always beneficial in credit score as your credit utilization will always be low ,and you get access to top tier cards like infinia /diners black

I wouldn’t threaten, abuse, shout at or belittle someone over credit card upgrade. By all means ask, request, reason or re-plan.
