Hdfc Credit Card paying upfront to use more limit?

My total hdfc money back credit limit is 50,000 out of which already used 40,000. So just 10,000 limit was left.
Now I need to pay 30,000 to buy something. So i paid 20,000 in advance now showing credit available 30,000. Now if i use it will i be charged extra for penalty or anything late

Make sure you pay that money back ASAP. Atlest before generation of statement. Else over spend charge will be applicable.

Did the same. Limit was 1.09l used 2.43 lack
