hdfc credit card rejected because of single name

Hello,
I am having an HDFC account since 2018 and my salary is around 6 figures from the last 1 year. I had applied for an HDFC credit card more than 5-6 times in the last 3 years. Every time my card application got rejected. Earlier, I thought it was due to my less salary or less CIBIL score. But for the last 1 year, I am having a decent salary and a CIBIL score of around 756. I also got a pre-approved offer in HDFC net banking, but still, my application got rejected.
Earlier customer care didn't have the answer to why the application got rejected but on the last rejection, the executive told me that it was due to my single name in the HDFC account. I have a single name in all my documents(class 10, aadhar, pan).
The executive told me to change the name in the HDFC account but that requires some document proof. I can't change the single name to Full Name in documents now.
Does anyone faces the same and have a better solution to it?
Thanks in advance

I also have only a single name on all docs and i have a hdfc credit card. They have added F in surname for processing credit card and my card shows fanil f. I don't think that's the reason. Best thing to do is to talk to rm and get it approved

Sometimes they will add a single . (dot) in surname for such cases.
