HDFC customer care not clarifying my doubts

I talked to HDFC customer care about the condition to make my HDFC moneyback back+ lifetime free. I was shocked to hear that my card is chargeable & cannot be lifetime free. She told if you spend 50K annually; annual fee will be wave off. She arrogantly told me HDFC card cannot be lifetime free. Either She has no adequate knowledge or HDFC may have changed policy recently. Furthermore she said there is not condition to make card LTF on spending 30K within 90 days post approval. If they don’t convert my card LTF I wil close it. I use credit cards for rewards & discounts only.

Don’t rely on customer care calls;
Send an e-mail to cc: support[at]hdfcbank[dot]com, customerservices[dot]cards[at]hdfcbank[dot]com and ask them the same; email confirmation is always preferred in such cases; Also in case you get a negative reply, reply and tag the NO/PNO/Grievance mailIds.

You are right each time you call hdfc  CC, you get different information about the same query. HDFC cc is  very. pathetic not only call but also social medial like Twitter & Facebook.
