HDFC Debit card order cancellation will reset Amazon cashback limits?

Wanted to check if anyone is aware or checked that if we cancel some order on Amazon for which instant HDFC card discount(suppose 1000 INR) was applied will the cashback limit be reset(i.e. 1000 INR)?

To get extra 5% cashback with HDFC CC/DC you need to visit amazon via smartbuy link.
Visit https :// offers dot smartbuy dot hdfcbank dot com and click on amazon it will redirect you to Amazon. Don’t close smartbuy page until you complete order. Now on amazon page add products. If there are products before you visited amazon via SBuy it won’t be considered for cashback. So always add fresh or remove if there are any before visiting Amazon via smartbuy. Checkout normally.
happened to me once in my credit card.
Total of all amazon orders through smartbuy was around 50k of which 18k got refunded. I received 1000 cashback of which 900 got reversed the next day.
but registering a complaint solved my problem.
