Anyone used payzapp rent giraffe recently? Is it still showing as insurance spends (points credit after 3-4 days) or as rental spends (points credit in first week of next month).

If it is still insurance, that will still give points.

Last CC statement (Nov 15th) it showed as Insurance spends.

But they will close this loophole by Jan 1st for sure! 😂

So I guess the party is over then for rent based rotation for Rs. 60000.

There is also another point mentioned below "If you conduct a transaction (in-store or online) in Indian currency at an international location or with a merchant located in India but registered overseas, a dynamic & static conversion markup fee of 1% will be charged."

Not sure about the above mentioned merchant category. Any help fellow dimers?

Check your email for details and there is also a reward cap limit every month now.

Plz suggest some good credit card for rent payment with no or minimal annual maintenance charges. If rent is considered as usage of the card, then suggest a card whwre spend based charges can be waived.

The practice of misusing card rewards for fabricated transactions regularly has become a habit like people crapping everyday - needs an end for the whole CC industry to sustain properly.

I think an industry wide revision and agreement among the issuers is needed ASAP to agree upon common rules and guidelines to stop this menace of new alternative professions arising out of this misuse like "professional money rotator".

All's well, keep going... I guess 95% CC based rent payments are fake or fabricated. All issuers should make it chargeable and no reward points should be awarded.

Many might not like my words, but for the greater good of the common majority of CC users, things are moving in the right direction.

absolutely..
Although I am paying real rent using CC but I feel this is the right direction to close all loopholes ..and hopefully genuine users of CC get better rewards in future

Yepp, I do not see any major issues with devaluation except rent payment, most of the limits are high enough for a normal user to not hit them.. Rent payment i understand why they had to do it as the whole community was misusing it massively...and 1 rent a month will be enough for genuine people....

Also some restriction on education spends for specific cards and cap on max points on grocery spends for all cards applicable...

No rewards for rent payment kind of makes sense. I can add my father or spouse as the landlord on CRED and get unlimited points for basically no charges to the bank. But honest rent payers will lose out.
