HDFC Giving Limit Enhancements Pls Check Ur Cards

Thanks, got a decent CL increase (66.666…%)

Is it automatic or do we have to do anything?

Never thought card limit is this important.

I do not accept any offer on card limit increase. I have 10 cards. A couple of them have very high limits. I dont feel secure with higher card limit. I set my card limit to less than 25k from mobile app. for all my cards.

rather than doing this why not disable transaction online/pos/contactless and enable only when you use. decreased limit is updated in CIBIL rather than actual limit.

oh my card is also 7 months old will check later in the evening …

decrease limit is not shown in credit score I also keep my limits low but its shows normal limit in the report

Now they are sending mail every day to upgrade to metal infinia from LTF infinia

I’d rather get my limit reduced. Anybody knows How do i get the limit reduced on HDFC card?

I have got only 2k limit increase. Current limit 1 lac 50 thousand and upgrade to 1 lac 52 thousand. Should I take it or leave?

BTW, one a serious note, metal Infinia does have some extra perks compared to pvc Infinia; although not worth the fees in general.

I don’t think so.. it’s all the same since they have increased the joining fees and discontinued the plastic card.

what is the benefit of increasing the limit? HDFC is after me to increase the limit from last 1 year. daily emails/SMS. I have Regalia with 10L limit. never spent more that 1L in a billing cycle.

Why don’t they upgrade you to infinia with such a high limit?

They havent sent any email for card upgrade. The RM also hasnt mentioned any thing about upgrade.

All my card limits are properly shown on CIBIL. I think you have some misunderstanding. And by the way, credit rating wise I am very secure. I dont need to think about such petty things.

it happened with me with ICICI.
i said this from security point of view not from credit history.

Check in Netbanking for upgrade offers
Limit increase is always good and future proof
it was risk few yrs back but now u can just disable or set limit for txns

Did not get limit enhancement for more than 3 years. What could be the issue?
