HDFC Imperia Locker in a non-home branch

can we open a locker in non-home HDFC branch with 100% fee waiver for imperia customer ?
What is your experience? I think its not possible

my virtual RM advised me to visit branch where I want the locker , because he can not give locker requests to any HDFC branch but only Home Branch. So will visit the branch,don’t know what those branch people will ask me , may be a new saving account (will open a joint account for operating locker easily) besides this they even ask me to do some Insurances for their benefit.

Imperia is linked to the customer id. And the locker charges are waived off for the customer. So fee waiver should work. It will depend if you can get access to an available locker though. Also if you open a locker in any HDFC branch, they will probably need you to open an account. In that scenario that account will be auto upgraded to Imperia, since you are already Imperia. Do discuss with your dedicated RM, best person to be able to help you out.
Disclaimer: I have no lockers at HDFC so just went logically based on other services of HDFC.
