Burgundy has BMS offers, select card LTF, grab deal 10%cb..am not burgundy holder
Both are trash w.r.t. card offer. Who told u magnus LTF. They are not giving even privilege or ace card LTF. Only select is LTF for Burgundy.
Same goes for hdfc. Not allowing LTF even for 1000 rs card.
Debit card wise hdfc basic account also gives 1% cb upto 750 card. So no difference.
Burgundy Debit card is pretty good. It works on eazydiner 40% and BMS BOGO upto 1000. Nothing else though.
Trashy accounts. Just open any basic account in any regular bank near your home.Â
It's the staff that makes or mars your experience.Â
Please note that Axis downgrades from Burgundy if you fail to meet eligibility criteria. HDFC is a bit more liberal with those. In case you are prepared to maintain required balance / relationship, then Burgundy is a better program at the moment.

Your friend is just lucky.
Normally axis goes strictly by rule. I have burgundy account and they didn't agree for any of these even after raising to pno.Â
Even for axis select, i had to raise to pno to get it😅.
And 080 keeps changing its partners. Since last 5-6 months, it is not accepting burgundy debit card.

BTW, u can try for Burgundy private account then. 5 Cr relationship with LTF Burgundy private credit card, which is topmost card of axis.
