I have been offered a free upgrade to Regalia from Millenia (both having Annual fee). I already hold Amazon ICICI and SBI Simplyclick. I normally completes the quarterly milestone rewards with millenia. I'm tempeted with the Priority Pass Membership as part of Regalia although. I might only use it once or twice in an year.
Considering all the perks and reward points can you all please suggest your insights on taking this offer.

@myfungang829 I replied on basis of OP having paid lower card and getting offer for paid higher card... he can try requesting to make lower card LTF instead of getting paid higher card, they consider that most of the time.
No they won't make higher offered card LTF normally...
@myfungang829 You may have a tough time getting another LTF HDFC card after closure...
@Sins1995 Upgradation is optional if they offer you a paid upgrade. You can mail them to grievance redressal id and ask if they can make it LTF (they may give spend based conditions). Or as @yourdaddy said, wait and they'd send currently available card as LTF on renewal.
I have Hdfc Diners privilege card Rs2500 fee. How to convert into another credit card(fee should be <1000)
Downgrading shouldn't be a problem. Just send an email to [email protected] with the card variant to which you want to downgrade and they will do it happily
I would suggest you to first request for the LTF of the current variant. If they don't oblige you can mail them back asking to downgrade the card but make it an LTF
If I were you, I'd have mailed grievance email id with screenshot of the offer and ask them to make millennia LTF instead of upgrading to a higher card (regalia, according to them). Regalia is useless for CB/rewards these days...
But needs differ and you might not have found any other way out for getting a priority pass (I think those aren't free anymore with regalia).
PS - I too got the regalia offer and converted to millennia LTF attaching the screenshot. Yes, some spend based conditions were there.
