HDFC Millenia Vs. Easyshop Platinum Debit Card

Hi.

I have a Millenia Debit card and I use it to get Rs.800 cashback on 8k Amazon GVs. I use Amazon GVs for Milbasket (5k-6k), Broadband Bill (1.5k) and other misc. So I don’t have much left for Amazon Shopping.

I opened another HDFC bank account in my wife’s name and specifically requested Millenia DC but they sent an Easyshop Platinum Debit Card.

Now, please tell me what are the difference between these cards specifically for buying Amazon GVs from Smartbuy.

I have enough cards for Airport lounge access, so I don’t care if platinum card give that more..

PS: Both cards have no annual fee.

You get 5% Smartbuy cashback upto 1000, nothing additional. Millennia gives you 5% on top of that, upto 400.

You can submit an application for Millennia, I didn’t even activate the Easyshop Platinum card when I opened my account last month. Haven’t been charged yet, Savings Max account.

If you have credit cards, though, you can use the platinum card to get 1% cashback on bill payments (upto 750 per month).

Thanks. Will call my bank contact tomorrow.

Bill payments are best paid through Amazon Pay Balance which we get with 10% cashback through Millenia. stuck_out_tongue

How 10% it’s only 5% for millennia debit card

Maybe you are mixing it with 2.5% on all online spends

I got Easyshop Platinum replaced with HDFC Millenia Visa Debit Card.

Does it give same benefit of earlier Millenia Mastercard Debit Card?

My primary requirement is to get 8k Amazon GVs and get 800 cashback.

Yes, MC was banned so they migrated to Visa. Reward points usually don’t change between card networks, only fringe stuff like lounge access.
