HDFC MoneyBack card

I’ve an offer to apply for MoneyBack card in my netbanking. They’re also offering 1500 Amazon gift voucher and it’s mentioned as LTF.
1.Does LTF comes with conditions like registering for smartpay ?
2.Are card offers in netbanking pre-approved or I’ve to submit documents?
3.To close the card do I need to visit my home branch or can I do it online?
4. While applying can I specify any address or it’ll be dispatched to address mentioned in bank records.

This will be my first card. I’ve applied for Apay card but I’m not hopeful despite submitting ITR as I’ve never taken a credit product. Hence thinking of MoneyBack card for building score and 1500 GC is an added bonus
Thanks

Moneyback is their basic card and is usually provided LTF. As you are getting it LTF and it is your first card so get it using netbanking offer.
1. no conditions if it shows LTF in netbanking.
2. usually no docs required for pre approved, but you can contact with cc to be sure. or you can just apply and see if it asks any docs.
3. you can block the card online but to close the card account completely need to visit nearest branch (don’t need to visit home branch).you can confirm with CC if it is possible to close it via phonebanking.
4. Most probably will be dispatched to address on bank records as it was pre approved on basis of account but you can confirm with cc.

Is there any way to check LTF card?? They told as LTF but still have a doubt..

If card is pre-approved on netbanking and shows LTF then it is definitely LTF.

if you got by any other means then check with CC , if they confirm then it will be LTF.
otherwise they would suggest to add one bill on smartpay , just keep it linked and pay for 3 months and then your credit card would become LTF.

recently my Regalia first card was showing upgrade option in netbanking for upgrade to Regalia and i applied for it.
after getting the card, i called CC and they said it is first year free and if you link one smartpay bill and pay it for at least 3 months then it will be LTF.

In general, regalia first is a better card than moneyback for multiple reasons.
you can check the hdfc page for all the benefits.
eg. – it has better reward percentage, 2 per quarter domestic lounge access with visa/mastercard program, 3 international lounge access in a year with priority pass etc

Only minor downside is that with moneyback you can redeem rewards directly in card as statement credit but with this card you can redeem via flight booking which isn’t usually a problem as we all have to book flights occasionally.

i would suggest, go for it. but make sure to get this as LTF or convert to LTF by calling CC and checking with them about smartpay.

Got the card – it’s LTF (confirmed with CC), no need to register for smartpay.
