I have hdfc moneyback credit card with points: 4608 ;
I have an upgrade option for HDFC millennia creditcard.
its annual fee is 1000 rs with waiver option on spending certain limits.
no joining fee – i guess.
my points is of worth
a) 922 rs cash credit or
b) 1000 rs flipkart voucher is available for 6660 points, which i dont have and not profitable than cash option.
c) or do i retain the reward points for millennia card ? (only 25% (Value of Reward Points remains the same on the upgraded Card.)) 25% of 4608, which is 1000 points…
so better i have to opt for a) 992 rs cashback for points, and then have to upgrade card to millennia…
Please suggest what to do… ?
previously i had regalia card, i hope millennia is better than regaila….
millennia : for 1st 6 months, extra 5% upto 1000 per month on shopping via payzapp/smartbuy on amazon/flipkart. next months onwards upto 750 per month.
online spends 2.5% upto 750 per month – including loading wallets
offline spends 1% upto 750 per month.
OR do i need to wait for any other best hdfc credit card ?
millennia, regalia,…..

Got It
after how much time/month u got offer to upgrade from moneyback to milliniea?
I’m using this card for almost 3 years… Long back have seen regalia first card in upgrade section.
I didn’t opt coz it had higher renewal amount transaction, than 30k for money-back for a year.
Now needed 1% cb for offline transactions and wallet loading, this card is good one.
i am using MB card. i got regalia first upgrade but i didnt use beacuse need to 99 rs for reward redmption where as its free for MB. now i want to upgrade to Millenia but now i dont see any card upgrade in netbanking now. looks like hdfc is upset on me like my girlfriend as i didn’t shown up intrest earlier
How much old ur MB card??
To redeem points (cashback) in millennia card you need minimum 2500 points.
Maximum per month
750 points/cb for online
750 points/cb for offline.
For a year, need minimum to transact:
1,00,000 on online alone
Or 2,50,000 on offline alone
Or eg 60,000 online+ 1,00,000 offline.
If don’t meet this, then no % cb/points applicable for the entire year’s transactions.
No monthly/quarterly bonuses. No milestone bonuses.
SBI simply click has 1Lakh to waive off fee. (Amazon exclusive card)
Axis Flipkart has 2lakhs to waive off fee. (Flipkart exclusive card)
3 lakhs covered on these cards in a year.
If u can cope another 1 lakh online, then HDFC millennia card is good, else mb card is sufficient (as millennia doesn’t have any exclusivity)
