Hdfc is just best bank of all when it comes to reward program.

This card just got a rename. Earlier it was BestPrice HDFC Card. Now as BestPrice is renamed to Flipkart Wholesale so the Card rename.

After Paytm cards and recent devaluations, I don’t have any hopes on hdfc.

Axis has been going agressive since second half of last year and consistently giving good offers.

Currently giving flat 20x (30x for first time users) edge reward points on amazon via its portal. For some cards, this is equivalent to 40% cashback as amazon vouchers. Even for privilege card, u can get 40% as Myntra Vouchers, unless I missed something.

You missed is the part that grab deals are not good at tracking it’s a hit or miss. Another thing is you say it’s 20x and 30x edge points but as far as I remember 1 edge point is 20 p how is it 40% then?

Not excited about HDFC bank, they don’t offer 2 credit cards, reward point limit and lots of hidden terms and conditions

I got the cashback for transaction done in October. And many users have confirmed that they got it. So, I think only some people who are not doing it properly, due to cache or multiple refreshes or too long to place orders or not clearing cart properly, maybe facing problems.

I always use incognito window for placing the order.

Even a basic card like privilege has reward rate of 10 points per 200, which is 1%. 20x makes it 20%. And in privilege, u can convert them for double value for brand vouchers like Myntra. So, that’s 40% value. Now u sell them in trading portal at 15% discount. That is 34% true cashback.

Of course, there is higher variant cards like magnus and reserve which have basic reward rates upto 2% and they can be redeemed for Amazon voucher directly for 40%.

And all this has no capping, which is best part. It is like purchasing an iPhone of 100k at 60k. Even hdfc hasn’t given discounts without capping ever. Their DCB used to give 10x or sometimes 15x points, but that was for flight bookings only. So, these offers from axis clearly stand out.

bro, can you share more about “double value” feature of privilege card? Which are options are available for double value? Is amazon/FK/tatacliq available?

You need to buy brand voucher from edge rewards portal and then go to privilege card site to redeem it. Only good option is Myntra, rest is random useless clothing brands. Sometimes there is big basket too, but didn’t see when I tried redeeming.
