HDFC not giving option to apply debit card through internet banking.

I am not getting option to apply for RuPay or any cheap HDFC debit card on hdfc internet banking. It only allows to reissue the same debit card against hotlisted card (Times prime). Customer care told me to visit hdfc branch for apply rupay card. Why should I go to branch for applying debit card when others banks even nationalised banks allow to apply debit directly through internet. Shame on hdfc being the largest private bank, giving such poor service to customers.

Why to keep money in such banks where you don’t get what you desire?

before lockdown they were giving Rupay upgrade through net banking then they disabled all

when they restarted they stopped rupay

visit the branch and get the correct code entered on the application form for new debit card

apply RuPay Platinum international card from HDFC bank branch

ask him @INFJ he recently get RuPay card from HDFC bank branch.

Why would they deny? If i wish to DEPOSIT A BIG LOAD INTO HER VAULT?

But seriously if we don’t get what we are promised at the opening of seal account then why should we continue to keep our money in it?
