Are there any charges or degradation of preferred bank account in hdfc? Planning to open a preferred account for 50% discount on locker rental. Not planning to maintain the amb though.

None as of now. And not easy to get 50% discount locker, mostly are unavailable. Check with branch near you before going for preferred.
