i have milennia card
i got upgrade option to regalia for 2500 joining fee
should i take ?
i do a lot of online shopping, some travel, pay bills etc.
i was able to withdraw points as cash on milennia card. is it possible on regalia card to redeem points as cashback?
If you don’t travel a lot (for using free lounge access) and cannot use reward points for hotel/flight, never go to Regalia. It can be viewed as downgrade if you use the card mostly for shopping and want to redeem rewards as cashback

What if OP has other shopping cards like Amazon icici and FK axis(5% without capping), sc smart (2% online),etc types ?
Does it makes sense to hold milllenia then 🤔

If Regalia/Millennia card would not be used for any purpose, then maybe better to keep Regalia as it used to be higher in the ladder to Infinia (It might not be anymore as people are getting Millennia as upgrade from Regalia and vice-versa, so maybe HDFC is trying to make both cards close to same level).
Also, I’m getting 10% cashback (₹2k for ₹20k amount) on Amazon for Millennia credit card

Regalia is a more premium card Naa
Even annual fee is 2500 compared to 1k of Millenia (exc.gst)
Current ltf promo condition is also double for regalia (1L spend in 90 days) compared to 50k for millennia

How are you getting 2k via smartbuy?
I think cb is capped to 1k per month

Yes, but as I said, HDFC seems to have plans to bring them to same level based on what they are doing to Regalia

This is old deprecated page bro. There is another link for updated page in this page

Millennia - https://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/pay/cards/mil...
Regalia doesn’t have any updated page
rahulsoni0706846 wrote:5% card + 5% smartbuy =10%
5% smartbuy is applicable for all hdfc cards right?

Regalia doesn’t have any updated page
- The below product features & benefits are applicable for HDFC Bank Millennia Credit Cards issued on or after 1st October 2021.
my milennia card was issued 2 years back
looks like
millennia has reward cap of 5% CashPoints up to Rs 1000 every calendar month
while regalia gives 4 Reward Points per Rs 150 spend
Regalia has international lounge access but millennia doesn’t (even domestic lounge access is less in millennia compared to regalia)
Milestone benefits – get 10k points on spends of 5L and additional 5k points on spends of 8L on regalia. For millennia spend 1L in a quarter and get 1000 voucher.
Smartbuy benefits – regalia has smartbuy benefits to get 5x points upto 4000(2000 capping in a single day) and millennia has cashback capping of 1000 per month.
Reward program – 4 points on spends of 150 on regalia(1.33% if redeemed for travel, else 0.7-0.8%)
5% cashback on preferred merchants(Zomato, amazon, Flipkart etc)
1% cashback on all other transactions (except fuel) monthly capping of 1000 points . No capping on regalia.
This post should help you.

If you do not plan to use up the reward points for travel, then opt for Millennia over Regalia.
Pls stick with millenia
If u get LTF regalia only then u can take
