HDFC Rewards Redemption Issue

My Diners Premium Card was upgraded to Privilege card and reward points have been credited to new card. No issue with transactions.

I’m getting message The card details entered is not enabled for Rewards program. Please contact the Bank for more details. when I try to redeem for flight booking.

For older card, getting – Customer has been blocked for 6 false attempts . Most likely would have been disabled after 1st transaction with new card.

Is there some self service solution available rather than contacting customer care?

Thank you and Sorry to ask you again.. Is it usual practice?
Been 4 days since I received the card and did 1st transaction.
Nothing worrisome I hope.

Thank you @smart , spoke to HDFC customer care after years.
Was stuck with 61606161 wondering why there is no option to connect to executives.

Been informed that it will take a month from the date of delivery in system which is already 3 days later than actual. Unbelievable!!

Login to Netbanking, Click on Register Transferred Card. After that your account will reflect new Card number. Then you will be able to redeem them

Thanks ..that didn’t help me, so had registered the card post delivery.

Already more than 10 days over, Bill is generated 4 days ago.
Bank says contact “Smartbuy Team” and SmartBuy says It is a “Bank Error”
I am struck

try this:
Replace the 9th digit with another digit (ex: “0” or “1” etc…) and try on smartbuy with your own DOB and Mobile Number.
It worked for me and I was able to redeem all my points, while booking flight.,
While at the time of Difference amount Payment the card says Invalid

This is what I did Next, and my Card Started Identifying on the Smartbuy Portal :
I had an Urgent Flight Booking to be done, so asked Conceirge Team to do the booking on my Behalf
After all the instructions given, they sent me the payment link on my email address, where I paid from my card
This payment link was an external link (not on Smartbuy Portal, but eligible for 10X Rewards)
Immediately when the Payment was complete. Next hour onwards my card started identifying in the smartbuy Portal.

Looks like the card got registered on making the first payment.
Try this if it helps !
