I paid amount 20000 to wrong card on cred app, how we proceed further to get my money back, credit card experts plz help

If the other card is yours then i don’t think it’s worth the efforts. If it is not yours then you can try with cred. It will be a tedious process and cred will say no most probably.
Whether the card is yours or your friend’s, I don’t think cred has any control over getting it back.
In my opinion, if the card has any outstanding balance/due to be paid, you don’t really have any say in asking for refund. But if the payment is indeed excess, you can try requesting the bank and ask for refund stating excess payment. Usually a few banks process the refund via NEFT after confirming your bank account details or reverse the payment to original mode (in which case it will be back in your account via cred). Some banks has policy to send cheque/DD to the address on records.

Post all your expenses of August on this card and that’s all. There’s nothing more that you can do.

That card will be yiur friends card who logged in to your CRED account on his mobile phone.
Check with him and take your money back

Card is mine only, and cred account is mine also.
I blocked my original card and requested new card. I have not received my card to home , but cred shows in app, I enetered my old card details with change of last 4 digits of new card. By mistake I paid money that wrong card.
So can any one plz help me with the procedure with hdfc
If it’s your own card, then don’t bother. The bank will not return the money.
If it’s your card only, the payment will automatically reflect to new card. In hdfc replacement /upgrade cards are linked to same account. This has happened to me when I mistakely paid to my old credit card and the credit amount reflected in new credit card.
Dont worry payment gets reflected in your credit card account. when ever credit card issued there is an account number like mapped with the credit card and the same account number will be used for All features card replacement and all.so if you paid to blocked card then it will automatically gets credit to that card.
Same thing was happened with me for hdfc, rbl, sbi and amex cc
no need to worry, there is either of cases, one payment get failed and u get refund or it will be added to the card. This is similar to a bank account transfer, if the account is closed u get the money back, else it will be added to the account
So OP paid to old card or new card? i am confused.

Thank you all for kind responses. Money went to different card which is not mine. And I visited nearest HDFC bank and third party letter for credit card disputes. They said they will raise CRM and send to chennai. They will investigate and will contact us back on the resolution

So is our understanding correct that you mixed first 12 digits from old and last 4 digits from new card? In my opinion, these kind of pattern form a valid card number is little rare and the luck(sarcasm) favored you.
In any case please update the original post with what more details and the result after. It will help fellow dimers take the lesson.
After submitting HDFC credit card indemnity letter to HDFC and they credited 20000 to my correct credit card.

If you paid through app, I assume it was your card. If the other card is from same bank, then you can call the customer care and ask them to transfer the credit to correct card
