Health and Wellness Care Thread

We need body, mind and spirit in right alignment to have a good life.

Mental Wellbeing
1) Yoga, Pranayama and meditation helps immensely. Those sound synonyms of each other but there are subtle differences among the three. https://www.boldsky.com/health/wellness/2018/th...

2) An active sex life, good healthy food, music, right choices in life, right choices in life, right people in life, healthy life choices such as waking up early, getting enough sleep, exercising regularly, developing a good immune system, weight management, good environment, shunning negativity, getting free air and sunlight helps a lot.

3) If changing lifestyle does not help then a specialist in the subject can help. But we must reach out to them for help.

Physical Wellbeing

1) Regular exercises are must for a human being. Benefits of doing exercise: https://medlineplus.gov/benefitsofexercis...ml. Btw, proper

2) Eating healthy food is a must. https://www.nhsinform.scot/healthy-living/food-....

3) Maintaining a good immune system is a by product of many things, such as following above points https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/...

Financial Wellbeing
Financial wellness requires sound choices in life. It is rather a happy side effect. How one makes choices depends upon the kind of people one have around oneself, the thought process, mental stability, access to right information at right time. If one struggles with one’s financial state then one becomes mentally stressed. See, if a person is physically and mentally well, then there is a high chance that the person ll recover from this poor state. And long lasting financial crisis cripples a person from taking care of the physical wellness. Continuous deteriorating financial and physical wellness is bound to make one to go mentally unstable.

1) Taking care of one’s affairs as soon as one hits 18 helps a lot.

2) One must understand importance of savings.

3) One should not take rash decisions.

4) Proper exposure to right investment alternatives at an early age helps.

5) Consulting a fee only financial advisor is great. Having friends and colleagues sharing the same passion is even amazing. Combination of both is match made in heaven.

See health can leave you, financial state can go awry but if you lose your mind, you lose everything. All three things are interlinked with each other. So, we should just put some effort to take care of em.

What do you think of this? Share your opinions. 🙂

One should also have some healthy habits to preserve the sanity. In the era of IT jobs and the pressure that comes along, having some habits to take off the mind from work goes a long way in maintaining mental health

Here is covid story provided by a person, who recovered from COVID https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/life-style/...

According to the person
Key things to have: Thermometer, BP instruments and oximeter.
Key medicines: Vitamin C, Zinc, Vitamin D (some medicines omitted as I am not a doctor)
Key Points From The Person I DID NOT SELF DIAGNOSE OR TREAT. Informed the doctor about comorbidity and in my case-controlled diabetes. My metformin tab was increased to three a day.

Similarly another 5 recovery stories https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/home/sunday...

My COVID story: “It took us a month to recover from COVID fatigue” https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/life-style/...

Covid-19 2nd wave is severe in India but with 1.12% death rate, almost 99% recover from disease https://www.indiatoday.in/coronavirus-outbreak/...

I want to neither undermine the risks nor ignore the sufferings faced by people. I just want to be a little bit optimistic today. I hope it is okay to do it. 🙂

@bikidas2060 I don’t mean to spread negativity here, but I sincerely doubt the mortality data provided by the official sources, a person dying in every other house here.
My nani was telling that someone died in their neighbourhood of COVID and they staged it as a heart attack, can you believe it? wink

I can. We live in a country where government stopped publishing yearly unemployment data years ago. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. They believe:

No Data = No Criticism.

I absolutely agree, but so would thousands of people in the process (of survival and recovery.)

PS: I’m not trying to sound Grimm or spread fear. I’m just tired of sugar coating reality. neutral_face
