See there is no point in buying another health insurance policy now as 1) There is standard waiting period of 30 days for almost all health policies. 2)the disease will be treated as pre-existing condition and will have waiting period of min 2 years. If your existing insurance has refill benefit, you can get claim of full amount till your sum assured. Try for ayushman Bharat or any state sponsored scheme if you are eligible. I pray for speedy recovery of the patient.

So I am searching for any health insurance that can help me to pay bills, i cannot afford bill of 9-10 lakhs.
I am having this insurance policy from new india and tpa is mediassist from my company and I already claimed 2.38 Lakhs for same patient's uterus related surgery last month from medi assist. Total limit was 4 lakhs
Your suggestions/guidance will be very helpful for me
Thank you.

unfortunately even the BPL cards need proofs, documentation or enough time to find someone who expidites things by taking bribes.
Wishing ma'am a timely and complete recovery.
(AIIMS too is always an option.. especially if in or near a metro city.)
One more thing try to get top up from different insurance providers. As top up will be beneficial and have very less charges .
Since your existing policy is a corporate policy, you cannot top it up now anymore as they've fixed window for that during renewal. So you've to forget insurance for this now, as the condition is already known now, so now insurance will cover it, unless you switch your company in next 1 month. New company -> new insurance pool.
Many bank accounts and debit/credit cards have insurance coupled with them, though rare ones cover health insurance. Do check all your debit/credit cards for this.
Some group health policies have zero waiting period, so they might be of help. Corporate policy is an example of group policy. Many state govts provide low cost health insurance, they're also group policies only. Banks also provide group health policy, you can just google them, but these ones mostly have some sort of waiting period for pre-existing issues, you have to manually check. Best idea would be to look for group health policies by banks in which you have accounts.
PS: For this exact situation, an emergency fund is required. Try remembering if you have one, as this is the time to use it.
If not, then tough luck, try figuring out what all things you can liquidate, like stocks or mutual funds or FDs.
All the best!
For 👆🏽this👆🏽, someome please tag drjpatwa or others svtive in those health insurAnce threads please.
Or if anyone is aware of duch policies, then please make the_Kirang aware of the same.
said that you might be aware of some policies which do not have a 'waiting period' condition
Not necessarily for this case, but generally it might be helpful to be aware of any such policies.
Do not know what existing discussion/s is @keed talking of, so not seen if already posted.
