Yes go with that pin spring type.lock, u can easily get one from a cycle shop.
Pro- cheap in price, low maintenance, no extra key is required, dont interfere with the rear passenger while sitting, takes minimal space, safest among all other options.
Con - can make noise while riding bike on bad road.
best idea is to lock it below ur seat. just push the tip of helmet strap into seat and then lock it.
carrying that wire type is hard and u get more sound while driving.
get decathlon set
or lock it below your seat

Try this lock if you ready to spend ₹400+ also try to find it in local shop you may get it even for ₹250+ ! Fits easily in handlebar for easy locking (even though it's not keyless)
Heard number pattern lock are tend to fail within few months, bcoz of it's material and low cost.

Strap is easily cut with a mere blade or a pair of scissors .
Last I used is a cable lock with a key, invest in a decent quality, may be something from Decathlon.
I found the number lock based ones are little flimsy; don't last that long. And the hard plastic ones are not my preference as they interfere with the bike looks or pillion riders.

I did not want to have to carry an extra key, so opted for 4 digit number based cable lock.
I bought this zoook (link) in 2016 for ₹212, it has worked just fine till date. It even remained on bike in open parking absolutely unused for 2 straight years during covid, so rust etc accumulated a bit, but with just minor cleaning, it worked fine again. It also gets all mudded up during rains, but still has been working. Also, I've used this in street parking, open office parking for hours and helmet didn't get stolen. This one is currently oos, but here's a similar one for ₹199:

PS: These ones above have fixed PIN and cannot be changed I think, so note it in your keep or somewhere to remember.
You can also opt for this one if you like the design:

I hang this on my bike like this, it is somewhat fixed in position & neither moves nor makes any sound whatsoever. You might not have same bike but could get an idea.

Last week only bought from local market of link company for 130 rs
Buy a scooty with enough boot space to put helmet. Thank me later when benefitted.
Buy from decathlon
buy helmet box, its more secure also will keep helmet away from attracting dust
I once saw a homeless man wiping his nose contents on helmets kept on parked motorcycles. From that time, I always carry my helmet with me. Best alternative is to invest in a top box. Studds costs some 1500rs, and better ones are available for 5-7k.

Wait for BBD/GIS
Please carry it around. What if bird poops in it/dog pees on it? And if you take helmet with you always put it in upside down position. 🙂🙂🙂
