[Help] Applying HDFC Credit Card

Hello Experts…
Recently I got a call from some HDFC credit card agent & they were offering me HDFC Regalia Credit Card.
On further discussion, they agreed to issue LTF HDFC Diners Club Black.
Need your opinion whether I should trust them & proceed with the process. Have heard in past that they promise some card & people get something else in the end.
Few more questions -
- Does HDFC offers truly LTF Diners Black or is it spend based waiver? Where to find this fine print T&C?
- I have ICICI Coral & SBI Simply Click credit cards & I mostly spend online. Is it wise to take that card?

OP, if you do not get offered DCB then go for Diners Priviledge. That’s a better card than regalia for rewards.
I was told exactly same few months back… i.e Regalia CC. On further discussion he agreed to issue DCB. Then they sent me Diners Club Miles. When i called back and asked the agent he said you login to your hdfc netbanking and apply for upgradation. But as expected, it wont allow upgradation of a newly issued card 
@ On-n-Off Do you know the name or ph number or employee number of that agent? I suspect him to be the same guy who fooled me

HDFC offers truly LTF Diners Black? No strict rules
Just take it if they offer DCB even with Rs10K fees.
Amazon Prime,Domestic and International unlimited lounge access to 1+3 people, best card in the current times.
What is 1+3 for lounge access on DCB? Does DCB allows 3 add-on cards? Also, do we need separate card for kids for lounge access ?
Dont believe any agent unless he send you and email from bank email it or gives you a doc on a bank letter head
Diners Club Black as LTF is a really good offer, go for it. However I doubt if HDFC will provide it. Take caution.
LTF is now not provided after october 2019.
They had a LTF offer for DCB if you have done your education from certain ivy league institutes in India like iim, etc…
Rest I wouldn’t believe agents word if your salary criteria does not meet.
Anyways make sure you tick only diners black on the form when you fill it up. Don’t let the agent fill up the form.
I remember when I asked for DCB the agent who came home gave me a different form. They even called me to consider club miles bit I point blank refused and asked them to scrap the application. 7 days later card was delivered.
2 years back Diners Black was being provided as LTF against some postpaid bill / LIC bill attachment. One of my friend took it. Sadly I took their Diners rewards cards as their was no requirement other than sharing the credit with my main regalia card.
Also Diners was very profitable as they gave a very good profit for recharging DTH or mobiles ..
However since Diners removed recharge options.. I stopped using the card as a whole. Since booking flights or hotels is not that much profitable to me as I will miss out on the discounts which other websites offer on these categories.
Simple thumb rule : the agents always lie. Never believe them, never,
DCB is given LTF to few clients and spend based waiver on rest of the client .
If you are applying as new then atleast 1.75lac /month salary necessary
