Then received payment from unknown users? This account still has lot of money in it? It was debit frozen in January and till now bank didn't ask you to provide any kind of documents or justification for certain incoming txns?
Have you made any transaction with your debit card on any new site and didn't attend the transaction monitoring call.
4 years back I loaded 10k from kotak 811 debit card to load the mobikwik wallet and they did a debit freeze. To unfreeze it they asked me to visit the branch with kyc docs. I redid the kyc. Then again they visited my house for physical verification.
After two weeks they visited my home when I was not present and asked for the kyc details from my family. Then finally unfreeze my account.
The reason they said was i haven't attended the transaction monitoring call when the bank tries to verify the identity. They just unblocked my account for fund transfer and they didn't unblock the debit card till now.
Get some email proof and then raise to RBI Ombudsman.
I had read about multiple such instances happening in Kerala

The resolution given there was to contact the cyber cell at 1930. If it is Gujarat Cyber cell, you could possibly try finding out options online.
It's law enforcement matter so RBI ombudsman has nothing to do. Approaching high court may be the proper idea.
File RTI to that Gujarat cybercrime department seeking your case and investigation progress details. They may disclose or not depends
Mango people 🥹
Inquiring in cyber crime department is the only solution imo.

Try dis
What the hell is this? 😬
Bank has said Intimation received from Cyber Crime Department but consumer whose account has been frozen has recd no intimation what crap is this! 😑
I have heard about bank a/c s frozen based on instructions from cyber police
- In case of cyber crimes the bank a/c s involved & a/c s to which money is transferred from the above
- In case of suspicious foreign remittances

@Agnivo007 as per the present scenario, he is the suspect not the complainant so we can't ask any agencies to coperate or cordinate with him, at the most we can seek the updates of the case progress that too whether those agencies accede to such requests or not depends on their mercy unless the writ jurisdiction of the high court is invoked. I hope you can understand.
Similar thing happened with my paytm.. Forget it now or physically visit the police station that directed bank to freeze..

File rti with RBI asking what are the rules and regulations in such scenario. Also send a copy to the bank marked FYI so that they know you are now moving ahead methodically so that they atleast move their ass n guide you. File RTI with which ever authority has instructed the freeze asking case status and what are the steps to be followed by you to get the account unfreezed. Also ask under what rules regulations section act the freeze was ordered and ask for a copy of order so as to approach courts to get the account unfreeze. Btw a lawyer told me he never banks with any pvt banks as you can't RTI them. Personally using RTI had gotten a sarkari bank to cough up pretty good amount, even by today's standard, of stuck money 15 years bank ago. Otoh a pvt Bank dint give a shit even when legal notice was served.
How these things are practically possible in Real Life.
Person A does fraud and Illegal activity and gets money transferred in Account A by fraud means. Then person A calls person B for Dubai Family Trip and Transfer money 1 Lakh to Person B in his account B and gets confirmed tickets.
Rip Person B and his account B lying 50 Lakhs already in Current account.

If Cyber crime department is tracking chain links or money travel route then
Rip Person B and his account B whose genuine money 50 Lakhs lying in Current account already.

If you see carefully
There is a gap in story given here above by OP.( I am assuming)
Money received regular basis - From whom and Why - Purpose not very clear
Then directly jumping to Kotak Support.
It's been 6 months he posted this post now. What conversation has been done in 6 months with bank is not clear. No dealing with Nodal, Greivances, CEO,RBI, Cyber
There could be repeated offences that might have happened in his account. He (Op) might knew that those people who are sending him money are not good people. I book 75 Lakh worth travel tickets a year. I don't know money coming in my account through Gpay/ Phonepe/ Paytm is Stolen from someone's account or hard earned money. Maybe once in a lifetime everyone has taken money in their account which was sent by a fraud or money earned by doing fraud. Only repeated fraud money users/ receivers can alarm/ trigger Cyber Dept. Action.
Aise toh main online fraud karke SSP/ DiG/ Chief Minister ko Google pay kardun.Thodi na unka account band ho jaayega.
Something is being hidden here.
Op could be busy too that he couldn't explain the whole story in detail. Sorry if I misunderstood the case .
6 months Tak bank letter head pe written mein naa de with basic statement that "your account is debit freeze due to instructions Received from Crime Dept" . Aisa ho hi nahin sakta.
First step hai yeh and bankholder ka right hai yeh.
Issi ke uppar case built hoga.
How can you cordinate with several dept further if basic certificate provision from bank is missing.
Itna Paisa bank ne block kar Diya hai they should be answerable in writing to the consumer
Iam sharing a youtube video . This guy also faces something similar.. have a watch. Maybe of some help

After going through this video, I got some awareness.
I am sure my all earlier assumptions were wrong.
I take back all my statements.
I have wrongly done serious accusation on @paytm69 .
Kindly ignore my all earlier comments in this thread.
This is India. Anything can happen to anyone doneby anyone. Anything can be done by Police. Bank can be so non cooperative to a innocent Person I am surprised. I am really very very sorry @paytm69

the issue at hand :
Earlier A from Chennai dupes B from Gujarat and transfers the money to his account and later routes it to C in Assam. B has no way to get back the money due to various jurisdictions and the no. of banks involved. Simply put there was no coordination among the enforcement agencies of state nor banks.
Precious time will be lost on the investigation itself and the money would have been taken out before anything material could happen in this case.
Now they have found a solution for this
National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal.
This portal now brings on board the security agencies of different states and financial institutions such as banks under a single platform.
A cyber crime reported in gujarat is thereafter tracked by transaction monitoring cells of different banks at head office level and is reported almost realtime to agencies in the portal. The agencies then and there request the banks to put a hold on these funds till they say otherwise (i presume till the investigation is over).
The issue here is that the police valas who give such instructions rarely come back and revoke the same at a later stage on the portal. As someone said earlier, its very hard to get a resolution from them directly aswell unless you can go there physically and present your case.
The banks have no option and have no role here they are just doing what the enforcement agencies say. Bank's can't advocate your case before them its not how things work - you will have to do it on your own or get help from a court of law instructing the bank to lift the lein.
