Help me BUILD a PC at 30000-35000 (PC BUILD)

Hello guys,

It’s been years I’ve built my PC and since then many things have changed and my brother recently asked for help regarding a PC build at around Rs 30-35K without MONITOR, peripherals, speakers.

It is not for gaming at the moment, but would prefer an option to get an graphics later and play in case he wants.

Mostly for daily school/soon college purposes and lil small edits, not hardcore regular push, I know it’s not possible at this price point. I’m not really looking for a laptop too, as I’ve had bad experiences with laptops at that price point tbh.

Thanks in advance.

30-35k would not build any decent PC, monitors themselves are now 8k+. You’d be much better off buying an Amazon renewed or Acer recertified PC at a reasonable price.

I’m saying 30-35k without the monitors and everything… Only for the proc/mother/psu/ram/ssd etc I’m keeping 30-35k

Hello, what’s the reason of going for Rygen 3 Pro 4350G instead of something like Intel Core i5 11400 or something?

I’m from Kolkata, so I’ll probably go down in MD to check the prices out once, I’m away from the whole PC build scene for years so I need help with this. Also are OEM warranty given by the store or the company itself, is it a new thing, I don’t think I heard about it when I build mine years back.

i5 11400 is much better (performance wise) vs 4350G but it costs 2.5-3.5k more & you will end up spending 2-3k more on Mobo (B560/M) too vs B450/M series

If it’s just 2k-3k more I’m willing to pay, if it increases the performance by a lot. Is that best at this price point or something better is available? Also this has iGpu right?
What should be the motherboard n stuff, psu n stuff with the motherboard?

Checkout vedant too , they gave me a much lower quote than MD

All prices taken from mdcomputers site unless mentioned otherwise

Processor: intel core i3 12100—-Rs.12250

Mobo:

https://www.primeabgb.com/online-price-reviews-...

Rs.11500 only 1 piece left, you are getting AX wifi inbuilt with this mobo.

Ram: G.Skill F4-3600C18S-8GVK Desktop Ram Ripjaws V Series 8GB (8GBx1) DDR4 3600MHz * 2—-Rs.6440

psu: Corsair CX550M SMPS—Rs.4050 or Corsair CX650M SMPS—Rs.5290

Intel i3 12100 is faster than ryzen 5 3600(which is faster than any ryzen 3 processor currently available) in gaming while a bit behind it in non-gaming/productivity tasks. OEM processors warranty is given by shop who sold you that oem processor & not the manufacturer company.

I also personally prefer AMD but that’s mainly because I keep my PC for at least 5-6 years & in my experience it is easier to get a new mobo for AMD for old generation hardware launched 4-5 years ago compared to intel where it is very difficult to get a new replacement mobo after 3 years warranty period is over(of course there are ppl with intel mobos running for 5-6 years now). i5 is not really required considering the usage & I doubt you would buy a powerful enough graphics card that requires at least an i5 to fully utilize it considering you haven’t even used graphics card till now. i3 12100 is more than enough to handle a RTX2060super.

Ya the mobo can be an issue you’re right about that if this is the case..
I would then go for an AMD will for him as well, personally I’m also having a Ryzen one too for my PC. What build would you recommend for the Ryzen one? Same one like @getready?

Don’t go with AMD, specially on a budget build. Intel has upped their game since 11th gen.

However, AMD is still better if iGPU matters a lot.

@alekhyadas For ryzen you don’t have much options because all good manufacturer warranty ryzen processors are without integrated graphics meaning you must buy the cheapest graphics card to even start using the system. Nowadays even the cheapest GT730 card price is around 4.5k which is loot because these lowest end cards used to sell for around 3k before mar 2020. I still think you should go with intel because unless you are among the unlucky minority the mobo should last for at least 4-5 years by which time even if it fails & you had to sell the other components on olx etc it still wouldn’t be a loss because 4-5 years is a long time enough to get your money’s worth.

I wouldn’t go for AMD today. They are about to launch their new series and I’d recommend them then depending on the prices. You will get no advantage now. They are moving to a new design from the next one. The latest Intel gen is really good.

And Intel mobos are solid. I wouldn’t worry too much unless you get your mobo fried by lightning like what happened with my friend’s 9yr old i5. He could still get a cheap chinese mobo in the shops for it though the quality is not that good, but usable.

You can buy even i3 12100 for your usage and it would work well, but I recommended i5 12400 since it will be powerful for a long time.

Do compare the performance difference (It is significant in the case of i5 11400 vs 4350G) and there’s always a better variant with 2-3k price difference
Yes, intel chip got iGPU, a basic one (UHD 730) comparable to Vega 6 on 4350G

PSU is generic, doesn’t matter if its intel/AMD but RAM sticks there are optimized ones for Ryzen & Intel. MBs choice depends on your budget, the older gen variants are cheaper (B560 >> H570 >> Z590). If you’re opting for non-G series Ryzen chip then you can get a used GPU for 2-3k (basic one) for the time being

Check out the prices for OEM processors (AMD/Intel) on Primeabgb /MDComputers/ ITdepot. They’re official importers/distributors for many electronic components here in India (CPU/GPU/RAM & .. ). So, the 3 years warranty you’re getting for OEM components is no different than 3 years provided by the manufacturer (Even better if the purchasing store is from the same city) and you’re also saving 20-30%

Don’t blow up too much money on the mother board.

I would go with the new gen Intel over the suggested ryzen CPU. Agreed the Mobo would be a bit expensive for these Intel chips – don’t know why they keep changing the pinout across generations each time nowadays – but it works well seamlessly.

Also, look at options other than MD Computers. I have heard they are expensive now. Best is to walk in to some reputed shops in Kolkata instead of online buying.
