If weight & design(aka office/typical look) is not a consideration then get a gaming laptop for ~50k, best specs. Otherwise get a laptop only with IPS screen as that is a must for anyone going to be looking at laptop screen for more than a hour reading/watching stuff on it.

Gaming laptop with non-gaming processor(aka U version processor & not H version like above, most likely because of processor shortage currently as first time seeing a gaming laptop with U version processor though it is still very good).

Good Display and Better Battery

You don’t get better displays on laptops unless you spend a lot (Usual Scenarios : 250nits on 40-50k laptops, 220nits on budget ones)
Based on your requirements and use cases, you need a tablet with a touch screen.. which you can use anywhere and more conveniently (at home or while traveling). Skip Android/iOS if you think u will need 32-bit/64-bit windows Apps (If not some you have some options upto 50k like Galaxy Tab A7, S6 Lite, S6, iPad, iPad Air, S7..)

Option 1 : (If your budget is limited)
Lenovo Ideapad D330 @ 22k
https://www.flipkart.com/lenovo-ideapad-d330-ke...
^^ Not a great screen

Option 2 :
Lenovo Ideapad Duet Chromebook
https://www.flipkart.com/lenovo-ideapad-flex-5-...
^ Display on this one.. is one of the best (IPS FHD @ 430* nits) and Battery life is great (8-9 hours with 2-3 tabs of Chrome @ medium brightness). Can Multi-task/window but its limited to two screens

Option 3 :
Microsoft Surface Go @ 35k (currently OOS)
https://www.flipkart.com/microsoft-surface-go-p...
^ Again great screen (400+ nits brightness) + touch & windows 10 (Says “S” mode but can unlock full windows too)
Surface Go 2 is also available but it costs 55k ( You get better 2 in 1 laptops like Flex 5 w/ a pen at that price) like this one (Not a bright enough screen though @ 250nits)
https://www.amazon.in/Lenovo-Convertible-Integr...

You can use these with keyboards (if you prefer it)
Battery Life will be much better than laptops
and Good (convenient) for reading books too..

If you can spend more 70k,80k+ , then consider these (Don’t think high budget is needed though.. but these are better options for long term usage)
// w/ a monitor attached when possible (preferably 34" Ultra-Wide)
MICROSOFT Surface Pro 7 Core i5 10th Gen – (8 GB/128 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home) (12.3 inch, Platinum, 775 g) @ 67k

APPLE MacBook Air M1 – (8 GB/256 GB SSD/Mac OS Big Sur) MGND3HN/A (13.3 inch, Gold, 1.29 kg) @ ~90k

I think you can don’t need to buy a laptop with very powerful processor. Buy a decent 15 Inch laptop. Then buy a Monitor between 24 to 27 inch Full HD IPS and attached to your laptop. You mentioned portability is important as you might need to pack and move. You can easily pack monitor in the original it came in. You can also go for ultra wide monitors more horizontal space.

You need a flicker free Technology. See, leds mostly use PWM technology to adjust brightness. If frequency is too low then it ll cause a problem, the same is a problem with most OLED displays. Some use DC dimming technology, which is an expensive alternative to PWM.
So, what shall we look for while choosing a display?
We will look for the frequency at which PWM control of the display operates or the brightness control technology used by the display. 🙂

Bhai truth little more complex and nuianced.

1) IPS gives best performance in terms of viewing angles and  vivid colour.

2) for reading TXT ( static images) lowest refresh rate  0 Hz should be best for eyes. Like eBooks with some type of ink technology.

For watching moving images ( video games or videos)  highest possible refresh rate should be good.  Currently  120 Hz or 144 Hz refresh monitors are  easily available in VA

and TN panel . High refresh rate IPS are also available but prices are higher, and generally has lower brightness.

There are some display technology Coming in mobile phones with variable refresh rates as low as 1 Hz to 120 Hz.

3) Blue light is considered bad for our  eyes and our natural circadian rhythm ( sleep pattern) so it should be reduced either through some blue light filter software or hardware level implementation in monitor/ display.

4) And last but most importantly

• everyone should  take regular breaks in computer session ,

• adjusting  brightness according to ambient light conditions and  preference

•  maintaing certain distance from display.

•  Consult Eye specialist if necessary.

Look for BenQ models, they have built in eye-care features.

In this budget you won’t get 15.6" screen & IPS both so decide which one you are willing to sacrifice.

In how much budget, go for Microsoft surface book (light weight, slim, compact) business laptops if your budget allows.

And bhai, are you using any sophisticated software??? Which software are you using? If bhai, you don’t use much of the resources, take Apple 2019 edition ipad. It will serve you well. 🙂

Yes. Through HDMI cable or through other display connections like display Port…  old Laptops models used VGA cables
