Hi all, Recently I bought western digital M2 SSD 512GB. I have installed it and worked well, but suddenly one day laptop was stopped working. When i checked the SSD, it’s not fitting properly. After that i tried removed and installed many times but not working. Now I can’t return because return period is over. Is there any good idea to resale or replacement?

Which laptop? And post link of exact ssd? How does it fit once when it worked? Didn't you check the size before ordering? Best option is to get a case

asus vivobook s15 s510un laptop model and Western Digital WD Blue SA510 M.2 500GB, Up to 560MB/s, 2.5 Inch/7 mm, 5Y Warranty, Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (WDS500G3B0B). Yes, its worked two days later my laptop was stopped booting. I tried many cases like M2 ssd to sata converter etc..(to make primary hard disk and remove the existing hdd disk) But still not worked

If it worked one time, it will work second time as well unless the hardware is faulty. Have you checked the bios when your laptop doesn't boot? try to see if it's detected or not. It might be simple boot order issue or mught be something entirely unrelated to ssd. You have to check all the variables and share the details so one can suggest you a better fitting solution. More power to you.

Yes i checked the boot options and it’s showing only hdd disk. Then after only i have removed and reinstalled it. My doubt is why external cases also not working and not detecting.
