Help Needed... Got a drone from online and got a legal notice

Drone not legal in india 🤔🤔 Shadiyooo mai to 1000 logo ke saamne video bnate hai wo illegal nhi hai kya 🤔🤔🤔

Really illegal, how come so many photographers using drone to shoot the marriage, pre-wedding and other functions. In small village guys are also using those. If it is illegal how they got those?

Any suggestions or anyone faced the same issue??

First time came across such issue, first inspect the letter whether it is real or fake, second try to find details of phone number which u r friend received. Check whether it is private mobile number or service number like 100 etc.

Just checked, it is illegal to use drones in India… I remembered one MP (revanth reddy) from Hyderabad is arrested for using drone week back

Ask your friend to comply with the legal notice. Visit there and pay 5k penalty and request them to discard the drone that they have with them and tell them that he was unaware of drone bring illegal in India.

The letter is giving reference to a Show Cause Notice (SCN) issued on 14th Dec 2018.

Which I guess your friend ignored….. So now personal hearing for the same…..

Drones were illegal in india but now as per new rules they are not illegal but requires UIN depending on Rpv category they fall in.
I think you can ignore it or reply that you didn’t imported it or ordered from outside and ask Snapdeal for refund.

Did you speak to Snapdeal CC? what is their version? did they alert about all these consequences before placing an order?

When it is still stuck in customs, how can your friend register it? File back a case on them for sending a notice in his name. Govt. official hai toh kya aankh band karke kaam karega?

go to custom office. tell them the case number. tell them to keep that drone you can’t pay else take 500 and release it. in most possible outcome the custom inspector will offer you tea/coffee and himself will bring you drone for 500 rs. isse jyada maange to chai bhi pee lena aur wapas aa jana.

Don’t pay any amount to them . First verify the document and number

Why order direct drones?. Place orders for drone parts individually and construct. And attach camera and film girl hostel. I do same. DIY uthoob vidios available. Na bajegi lathi na tootega saap🥰

there are many such cases i have seen in avforum or gaming forums and all you need is to offer bribe of 100-200 (in past) to release item. said before and saying again, offer 500 or tell them i don’t want this item. custom inspector will happily give you for 500 bribe.

You dont need any license to poses or keep drone in India.
You only need permission to fly the drone
It is as simple as that.
And the notice which they have given is just ShowCauseNotice i.e. explanation notice.
They will only ask from wer did you purchased the drone and ask for invoice copies.
After which dey will ask you have you paid custom, if yes, den dey wil demand customs fees receipt.
And if you want to escape all this just tell them drone was not working and hence you trown it away.
It is normal to rcv such notice in Mumbai
