I m using same pureit model
It is good
Comes with external sediment filter, which i clean every 2-3 weeks
It asks to replace internal ro and other filters every yr costing around 3k, but haven’t done so in last 3 yrs as i get municipal water which doesnt need ro.
There was a review posted by someone on the pureit model that it stops working every 8 months and you need to reset it chip or something
Before buying any water purifier, check your water supply’s current tds level, and then based on that go for the features.
+1 highly recommend
Just a suggestion Make your own RO. It’s fun to make. Lots of you tube videos available. Yes, I have made one working from a year.
Please help us too, but only if 3M type spares or parts were bought on-line.
Else provide direct market, off-line shop details.
Because purchasing key parts on-line is a risk, to say the least.
Accessories (clamps, wires, even servos, solenoid valves) for once I can think of buying on-line, as vusual inspection gives some idea of durability and quality.
But certainly not so in case of building the chasis, using the UV lamps, prefilter (candle) and the PCB, membrane itself.
So you made it within the past 18 months you say, right?
Mounted it on a wooden/ ply board or got any acrylic chasis or casing made to hold the components in a place?
Check local brands as well
They usually work good and low on maintenance
Bhai TDS meter leke pehle quality measure and then go RO hunting.
If it’s bad, you’ll have to go for better purifier.
It’s a hit and trial type of thing.
Mere friend ka above 400 tds tha and most RO failed for him.
He settled with LG at last and is quite happy with it, it’s expensive but quite good.
Sasta maal sir-dard dega but that depend on how bad is the water.
Any suggestions on best tds meter.
I have Kent and I suggest not to go for it due to the high maintenance. Bought it for 12k 6 years ago and would have spent more than that for its service/repair. Dont go for KENT.
ro water is not good for health
Can someone tell at what tds level which ro should i buy (uf,uv)?
according to WHO water having TDS below 300 does not require a RO and a normal purifier (UV,UF) is enough.
Need to buy an RO urgently. @tappukepapa @xxxyyyzzz @kukdookoo @Siddhartha07
