This stupid Paytm has put my wallet under credit freeze.
Says complete the KYC. When I go to shop, they are asking for 50 rupees for doing KYC.
what day light robbery is this? Why do i need to pay 50 rupees for doing KYC?
any other method?

Pay 50/- and get it done. Seems like there are only very few stores that are into Paytm Physical KYC and this is the only option to get your wallet working again

Today did vkyc in-app to upgrade from mini kyc 10k wallet voluntarily. Said 2 days required for update.
Use the search bar and type kyc, select kyc points, there you get vkyc option. No need to visit store.

Same issue. My main issue is that my fastag is linked to paytm account and am unable to recharge. Ready to close the account if not for fastag.
There is only one KYC point in my place and it is far, so opted for door service by paying 150/- Ecom executive visited to do KYC but he was a rookie. Initially, just took my signature in his phone and left despite me asking about biometric. He visited again in the afternoon with his senior, after my complaint to paytm and this time, the fingerprint otg did not work.
Planning to travel on Thursday and need to recharge fastag but stuck. Paytm have asked for 48 hrs to resolve issue. Any other alternative way to recharge fastag/wallet?

It’s a common practice banks usually does this depending upon the risk type they’ll ask for kyc in 1-5 years interval

Have to recharge for fastag as am travelling tmrw, so visited the KYC center but no go. I guess they have linked Aadhaar to Paytm Bank as got the error that Paytm cannot open Bank Account at the moment. Unnecessarily, the executive opened Paytm Postpaid account to check if KYC gets verified (it did but only for postpaid account)
Tried many times but did not work out. The personnel there said that many are facing this problem and to get IDFC or any Bank fastag to avoid these issues.
