Help regarding pnb debit card

Wait for 2 days atleast... no personal experience. If still doesn't get solved, call bank CC and choose account/debit card option, speak with agent.

I opened the account month back and debit card is still not dispatched.. complaint to pnb several times and contacted branch several times, all they said is “due to chip shortage, there is delay in dispatch “

Complained to consumer court but still nothing..

In how much time, you people getting pnb debit card nowadays ?

Wow 15 days is too short period. My PNB account opened in July 2022. It's Nov 2022 almost, still card not received. I am in Mumbai, India's so-called "financial capital".

Banks usually have a stock of debit cards and you can request one to be assigned to your account at the time of account opening. It takes 24-48 working hours to get active.

Mumbai PNB branches have run out of stock of RuPay Platinum for 1 year. They have Visa and RuPay Classic insta kits and say they don't know when RuPay Platinum will arrive. They are blaming Ukraine war and resulting chip shortage but only a few shitty Government banks have this problem with RuPay Platinum (PNB, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Indian Bank, Central Bank).

You can also activate any cards for e-com transaction through bank ATMs.

Was first card also Platinum?

i didn't got any card from pnb yet..
it isn't getting dispatch from last month..

i again applied for new card from pnb one app, but there was no option to choose anything, it just applied, but the worst thing is it will get delivered to branch ( what kind of joke is this..)..

i don't have any debit card right now, somehow i registered on pnb one app...

but most of function in pnb app requires tpin or transaction password..

to set tpin we need debit card or transaction password.. but i don't have any transaction password.. also unable to do net banking registration..

i can't even do a thing with this account... worst banking experience ever

It says that card will be delivered to branch but in my case it was delivered to my house

no, i didn't got atm as insta kit not available ...
my debit card request was processed one month ago but they didn't dispatched anything yet...
already complained several times but all they said "due to chip shortage there is delay"

you should have gone to other bank then, Probably you can visit the branch ask them if they have atm available with them if not just open account in some other bank

I have last 4 digits of my card which I can see online so what could be the first 6 digits of the Union Bank Rupay Debit card.

I am yet to receive the physical card, so please help me with the first 6 digits of the Rupay card, as I guess it would same for all the Select Rupay variant cards.

All cards BIN number (first 6 digits) are different.

As per my observation, first 6 digits of the respective cards would be the same.

I mean if the issuing bank and the network(Rupay, Visa, Mastercard, Amex) are same then the first 6 digits would be the same.

So thought if anyone is having the Union bank Rupay debit card then those first 6 digits would be the same.

Ok if you are able to crack first 6 digit, you have 4 so total you get hold of 10 digits, what's your plan for rest of 6 digits?

Expiry date is also ok, what about CVV
