I researched offline too in local stores and also branded ones like Hometown. Found good ones in local store but trust nahi aa raha. Hometown vale products me maza nai aa raha.
So, please provide your valuable suggestions and experiences.

Some of the (real wood) Usha Shriram firniture from early1990s is still there.
Kuch ki tou polish tak, sahi salamat hai.
.
.
But those were different times and table, chairs, beds were all of wood.. not like today.. when 'engineered' samosa/wood/ milk/ nariyal pani etcetera are sold... 😖and people buy.
.
.
Lekin uss sab mein bhi.. vishwas nahin ho raha aur maja nahi aaya.. ka tou koi vishesh solution nahin Dhyaan aa raha.
.
Depending on location/city.. some trusted/old worldly shops are still reliable actually.. even when they are trading (and bot manufacturing on order).
.
Checked now https://facebook.com/100063739816532 Usha Shriram https://usha.in/our-businesses.php are still there in the furniture business, lekin site dekh kar lagta hai ki kisi 5 saal ke bachhe ne banaya hai.
(Products are listed on Amazon, Flipkart).
I think [email protected]_0_0_D bhai here or someone such reliable did mention once.. that they had good customer service experience with https://www.woodenstreet.com/offline-furniture-store site too.
Baaki prices tou :-/ discount ke baad bhi.. neighbourhood carpenter made furniture se dedhi hein.

Agar chaho tou.. khud ek design bana lo.. tentative.
Metal structure with chrome finish or steel mainfrsme/ pipes..
Woh koi bhi achhe workshop/ metal works se banwa lo.. aur uss par 9-10mm ka glass... serves as the table top.
Anything over 11-12mm thickness glass would necessitate rather strong structural integrity below.

I saw your comment after posting my essay.

Many years back.. Dad literally had squarish metal pillar designed with the top branching out to four spokes.
Base too had cone/ conical metal structure to support a ..barely 4×4 table top.
.
The workshop guy suggested.. uncle simple galvanised G.I. will be sturdy enough.. usko hee shape de doonga.. aap upar se (carpenter ke through) Sunmica/ Formica lagwa leejiyega.. wooden feel ke liye.
So pillar and base had that Formica surface on metal skeleton.. but on top he made the metal spokes such thst it was enclosed within supporting 'lippi patti'/batons and wood.. to give a bit design.
The glass too.. Dad bought a slightly tinted one.
Looked sweet and fancy.
It survived on and off use for 14-15 years.. then during one shifting.. it was sent to a relative.. more than 7 years back.
Then i do not know if it was misused or still kept in safe working order.

Hum woh praani hein jisne ek center table ka marble top todne ka shrey arjit kiya hua hai! (arey bhai.. bachpan mein).
I thought marble would be more sturdy than glass. And you broke it. And one thing I came to know is that the ones which we call as marble top are actually ceramic which are made to look like marble. Actual marble tops are very costly.

Mast carved Sheesha, saamaan, marble top.. if living in Defence Colony/ 'kothi' in south Delhi/ Hauj Khas or in Cuffe Parade, Altamount Road in Bombay.
.
Else.. jo lamba chal jaaye.. wahi bachat (over long life).
.
Sorry for adding to the conundrum.
.
Aajkal tou bathing soap, shampoo, tooth brush, paste bhi regular buying karte karte.. hoarding ho jaati hai.
Phir dou dhaal saal baad jab wahi product use karte hein.. MRP/ purchasing price dekhte hein.. tou ek (artificial) khushi milti hai..
..ki dekho (abb ke mukaable) kitna saata mil gaya tha.
Forget about quality with ₹ 30k budget for a dining table. Hometown type stores provide cheap quality engineer wood materials. Ask them for wood. Buy only wood for the long run as engineer wood plank gets broken very easily especially while shifting or cleaning under the table.
flipkart pe wooden dining tables hai check them
