birthday dinner recommendation

For a fine dining experience, I would recommend "Banares - The Royal Gharana" located in Hotel Surya, a popular 4-star hotel in Varanasi. The restaurant serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes with a focus on traditional Indian cuisine. The ambiance is elegant and sophisticated, with comfortable seating and attentive service. They also offer a special birthday cake with personalized message on request.

Another option could be "Lotus Lounge" located in the Rivatas By Ideal, a luxurious 5-star hotel in Varanasi. The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the city and the river Ganges, with a rooftop seating area. They serve a variety of Indian and international dishes along with a selection of cocktails and mocktails. The ambiance is perfect for a special occasion.

I hope this helps you in planning your birthday celebration in Varanasi!

Being local I would like to add assi ghat and jantar manter near near Kashi Vishwanath Temple /Dashashwamedh ghat.

And beware if you want to have holy dip in gange kindly take a boat and go opposite side of ghat. Here we are kept hearing daily 2/3 tourist being drown on ghat side.
