HELP!!, Wrong airtel number recharged by mistake

Recently I tried to recharge my airtel number through phonepe, but by mistake entered the wrong number which was just one digit, and the recharge went through successfully, would like to know what are my options now to get back the amount, are there any emails or numbers I can get help from?, thanks in advance

Something similar. My family member instead of recharging ₹1000 did a recharge of ₹10000 for Tata Sky. When i contacted Tata sky customer care, they said they could reverse a transaction if it is done using their own website but if third party website is involved then they can't do anything and i need to contact third party PhonePe in my case. PhonePe said they can't reverse a transaction (nothing wrong on their part). Contacting Airtel customer care using Twitter is your best option.

Have faced similar issue back but amount was 16rs Airtel recharge joy

Try contacting the number you had recharged and ask if he's willing to return you the money

Nothing can be done best is to contact the person and check if he is willing to pay back if not you might want to negotiate if possible else forget and move. For satisfaction could contact air tel via twitter or other way to check if they can help.

Nothing can be done.. If the number doesn't exist or different operator you might get refund.. But since you said it's active, only thing you can do is call and ask for money... Even if he returns 40-50% you should be good

Look up that Mobile Number in WhatsApp, if the no. appears, check whether it's Male/Female, and if you decide to move further Message and ask what can be done. BTW what's the amount you recharged?

Send email to [email protected], for any recharge issues to resolve. In your case, the wrong recharge amount shall credit to your Airtel talk time.

I have seen companies reversing recharges. And when we are at fault, they like to play games.

So, here in this case need to follow-up with Phonepe to reverse (thru CC or chargeback) it from Airtel. Not worth the effort I think if rech is in hundreds.

these airtel marons, can someone help me i have reacharged to a wrong no and sent sms to 51619 & 59109 but both saying there no such service. please help,,,,,,, airtel is very worst in this..
