Hi guys, this is about a bike accident issue.

Yesterday my father met with an accident. Other person on bike is soo drunk that he entered opposite lane and hit my father bike. Even my father saw him at a long distance and slowed down to minimum, but no luck to escape accident. This happened yesterday night at 9 30, there were no visible injuries to both of bikers. Both bikes damaged in the front. My father was forcedly compromised that everything will be taken care by drunker, a person who knows him said. So he returned home in an auto with bikes left at the spot. Today we compromised with the drunker for 8k bike charges and the hospital charges which they promised. Now after medical scanning and reports, it came out with internal damage which needs surgery to my father which are costing nearly 35k. Now that drinker lifted hands and not bearing charges. Bikes are not in spot, shifted for repair. Is there any chance to file case on him.

U can return the money and then file case. As u already have taken money. Difficult now. Better go to government hospital for further treatment. Mind sharing what is there that costed 35k?🙄

So, if we return money and file case, what will be issues that we will face. Blood clotted in sensitive part of male which need doctors fee 25k, bed charges and treatment around 10k.

Sorry to hear about the accident. Wish your father gets good treatment and recuperate well.
My thought related to accident says that first of all, despite whatever happened, get him the best treatment. These compensation should be secondary concern.
Anyways, its a bike related accident so compensation that we are looking here seems too much. 10,000 is usually in case of on-the-spot settlement of 4 wheelers accident. Don’t return the amount but plead with him that you don’t have funds necessary for medical care. Put emotional pressure and make him agree to pay some bills. Use your best tactics. Ask some elderly women in the family to do all these pleadings. Don’t start fight or abuse, else things will take a different course altogether.
