Hide SMS related to banking/credit card transactions

I think that should be possible on sms organizer.
I am too using the same app from a long time but not sure about this

Just disable credit notification for your bank account.

Debit notification can be kept on and message can be deleted after reading

There is one feature launched years ago.

Start badmouthing but got a befitting reply from my relatives who knew how good I am. I don’t hurt people until unless they invite themselves to get hurt.

Many parents do. Controlling other’s and their thoughts is in human genes. They come from generations which was too invloved in other’s life and love to peak in. My parents on other hands trust me because I have won their trust. So even if God arrives to tell something that I hidden, they will tell they already know it. Even my grandmother, Daadi becomes a Maa Chandi if someone targets me. haha

Well that’s right but easiest and best is to either lock the phone or don’t give it to anyone or lock specific apps which he doesn’t want to be viewed by others.
Hiding such things will become a tedious task and messages are not the only things which can reveal what op wants to hide.

I m a good listener

Use a different sim for normal calls/whatsapp etc and for sms relating to banks and others. Use two handsets. Lock the handset having bank sim.

Whatever you are suggesting is simply going to create suspicion. I will be asked why do I have two sims? why two phones etc.

Simple answer – you have separate sim and two phones to prevent bank frauds. Do not use the other phone for any other purposes.
If your brother/brother’s wife still wants to check the other phone, point black ask in front of all members of your family why they want your bank details. Shift the suspicion to them.

This solves the problem to some extent. The problem is when they are using the phone.. sms alerts pop up.

It was my situation 5 yrs ago. These days I don’t know where they are. But your situation is regarding hiding info. and you have every right to have privacy in your own life.

As I said take backup and delete sms. Restore when you need it back. Or buy a new sim with BSNL. Keep it in multimedia phone and register same with bank. Or Open a new bank acc. Tfr funds to it and use it cards. Don’t let anyone know about that acc. Say it is friend’s acc. Opt out of any phisical deliveries of that acc.

Even I am looking for similar app / utility, years back I use to have

Handcent SMS
GO SMS pro

Both have private box, which auto moves messages to private box based on the contacts, but it was complicated to use, to define the contact for each Bank sender ID (HDFC uses multiple Ids). Also these apps are bulky and causes performance lags as time progresses

Not tried again recently, you can try and let us know

also you can try this. Hide messaging app. disable Notifications and sound for that app and enable just Vibration. so that whenever you get a message, mobile will vibrate and only you would know that you got a text. later when no one is around, you can open message app which is hidden and check that text.

Okay so I know of something that can be of help in this situation (for notifications). There is an app called BUZZKILL which helps to control notifications based on rules. You can create your own rules like if notification received from XYZ app that CONTAINS any given text/phrase then DISMISS notification. This app works just fine. Only caveat is that it costs ₹100. But then all other solutions might be more expensive anyway hence this might be the cheapest solution for you. 100 bucks looks high for an app but not that much if you have some sort of emergency. But if you cannot afford this then there are 2 options:

1. Wait for this app does come on sale. It happens once in 2-3 months. I bought it for ₹40 in a sale.
2. Buy google play gift code from amazon at a discount. Sometimes there are offers like ₹50 off on ₹100 googleplay gift code.

Please note that, it’ll only hide sms notification and not the actual sms from the sms app. So if your bhabhi opens SMS Organiser by any chance, she can still see the messages

The best way is use Macrodroid app and program whatever way you want..
Like delete/move to trash any text that contains “HDFC”..
